Hours: 30 per week Monday-Friday (8.40am-2.40pm)

Headway Birmingham & Solihull is looking to recruit an exceptional person to work as a Receptionist/Admin. The role is based at Leighton House, Rednal.
The Receptionist/Admin will provide general administration support, answer incoming telephone calls and deal with them accordingly, maintain the reception to show a professional first impression of the organisation. Greet clients, staff and visitors to Leighton house, have a confident and outgoing nature and possess excellent communication skills, excellent listening skills and attention to detail.
Ideal candidate will:
Deal with incoming telephone calls in a friendly and professional manner, handling / diverting / taking messages as appropriate.
Place the sandwich order each day for clients and staff.
Place orders online for stationery/provisions.
Man the reception area at all times when clients are not in session.
Provide administration support to the Operations Manager – skills to include word, excel & outlook.
Have a genuine interest in helping brain injured people and their families. Able to communicate at all levels and have a good sense of humour. Candidates should have good IT skills including Word, Excel & Outlook.
We will require an enhanced DBS disclosure, expense of which will be met by Headway Birmingham & Solihull.
