Easter Fun Run 2019

Last year 150 people took part, over £2,300 was raised for our brain injury services and we had loads of positive feedback – from our volunteer helpers as well as the participants. But what’s not to like?! Whether you run, jog or walk the 5k route, you get a chocolate Easter egg at the end as well as a beautiful Easter-themed medal, kindly sponsored by Frenkel Topping for a fourth year running!

THE EVENT

A chance to run, jog or walk the 5k route through Cofton Park and raise much needed funds for Headway Birmingham & Solihull as you do so. The event is in its fourth year and proving increasingly popular. Places are limited and so sign up today to avoid missing out!

 

START

11am at the main car park area in Cofton Park - Lowhill Lane entrance (near MG Rover), Longbridge B31 2BQ

 

COURSE

A 5k route looping through Cofton Park including sections on paved pathways, grassland and woodland paths.

 

FANCY DRESS

Easter-themed fancy dress is optional!

PRIZES

Prizes will be awarded to the first male, the first female and the entrant sporting the best Easter-themed fancy dress!

 

TRAVEL/PARKING

There is some parking available at the Lowhill Lane entrance to the park and off the B4120 Lickey Road near the Oak Tree public house. Please park considerately and safely, and car share where possible. Note that Longbridge railway station is also within walking distance.

 

TOILETS

Toilet facilities will be available in the new Community Rooms at Cofton Park.

 

DRINKS

Water will be provided to participants and hot drinks will be available to purchase.

ENTRY

£10 per person in advance or £12 on the day – if places still available.

Note children under 16 are welcome but must be accompanied by an adult.

Early entry recommended as numbers will be limited. Entry includes:

• Race Number (to be collected by 10.30am on race day)

• Finisher’s Medal (sponsored once again by Frenkel Topping)

• Easter Egg & Water
